The month of January 2019 was consumed with thinking about thinking. I took an intensive four week course in major philosophical ideas and questions about the nature of reality, what constitutes the good life, voluntary vs. involuntary actions, identity, and the tyranny of custom. One of the most relevant ideas is that “The unexamined life is not worth living.” Because of this I have chosen to live my life with greater purpose. Service to others has become an important value. I am an ambassador for Triumph Foundation. I am coordinating a panel discussion on value in April 2019.
